The Netherlands
The foundation SYPO in the Netherlands has a Board of Supervision, which supervises a Director, who is responsible for the work groups that support the individual projects. All these people work entirely voluntarily. The Director is accountable to the Board of Supervision on the progress of the foundation. The Board of Supervision is composed of people with a lot of management experience, and experience in charity work. The members of the Board of Supervision are Ger van der Bruggen (Chairman), Paul van Essen (treasurer), Liesbeth Muurling, Pieter de Hoop, Nico Hopman and Ben Tiesnitsch.

SYPO's director is Duko Hopman, who is assisted in the daily management of the foundation by Emma Kandelaars (financial manager) and Wies Maas (promotion). Wies Maas is assisted in the fundraising for the foundation by Nico Hopman (corporate fundraising) and Peter Grol (private fundraising).

For each project, SYPO has a separate work group, which deals with communications with Uganda on subjects concerning that project, and with the promotion of the project and sponsorship. Each group has at least a group leader and a treasurer. Details about the members of individual groups can be found on the web pages of the specific project.
Uganda
In Uganda, SYPO works with the local NGO Pat the Child for the social projects (MediStructures and the cow cooperative), and for the microfinance project with the CBO SYPO micro development and SYPO's subsidiary SYPO Uganda Ltd. All are locally managed, and can function independently. SYPO finances its projects through donations, debt, and equity investments.
